My friends going through a rough break up any advice for her?

my friend , just broke up with the man she thought to be her soul mate of 2 years. after confronting her x and trying to get back together with him, she was told that he loves his new gf and basically to forget that they ever went out. Ive already told the usual "hang in there" "time heal all wounds", but it's not helping she's still depressed and im worried because of her history of cutting shell go back to that. So what im asking is, is there any advice you have for her? any suggestions?
