My boss is wounded for me - Boyfriend is upset but doesn't show it?

I won't go into details but my boss save my life and is currently in the hospital so I had to take care of him for a few weeks - I am glad that he is recovering. On the other hand, my boyfriend knew the situation. He is upset, I know. But does not seem to mind that I am currently taking care of my boss. I want my boyfriend to know that I love him and it is my responsibility now to take of my boss until he recovers. What do you think I should do now for my bf?
