you should save your allowance up and then buy the supplies to make the blanket yourself and then what could your mom say ... but i don't blame your mom for saying no do donating to the shelter as clearly that is not her interest ... but it is yours, so babysit, do chores, lemonade stand, make your own money and donate to whatever you want ...
