How to establish Dominance with this mare?

Ok, so me and my friend are boarding at the same place, and her mare beats up my mare really bad. I'm sick of treating wounds when they could of easily been avoided, when my friend works her mare, the mare gets real mad at her owner, and takes it out on my mare. Will someone please help?
