Cat with open wounds...?

Recently I found a cat wondering the streets, and I brought her home. When I was looking at her, I noticed that she has a few (2-3) small open wounds and scabs, and she also has quite a lot of fleas on her. Considering the fact that she has open wounds, I don't know what to bathe her with. Currently all I have is dog shampoo, and the bottle specifically states that it is intended for dogs only. I read somewhere that Dawn Dishwashing soap was okay, but I'm not sure. So, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated??? Thank you. (:
