How to commemorate a loss?

A friend lost her older sister a while ago, and although it may make her cry, I want to make something for her to remember her sister. I don't want to make a paper scrapbook or a photo album or frame. She already has all those. Maybe something electronically would be good or something else. I really want her to have something to hold onto. I know from experience that a loved one's death can cause several wounds that will never be healed.
