How Do You Heal Wounds On Your Mouth ?

For about 3 day's I've had a small cut on my inner lip. Its about the size of an average fingernail. I've dealt with cuts in my mouth before but lately its been effecting me. I have to chew a certain way its causing me not to eat as much as i should to avoid pain. Can some one please help.
