In my dream, my son is stabbed to death, what's its meaning?

I saw myself walking in a narrow page with my adult son. We were attacked by a guy who stabbs him in the stomach. I feel very anguished about it and approached the killer who still has the knife in the hand and pushed myself against it, thinking that if my son is dead I would rather be dead too. Later both of us, my son and I are looking for a hospital. Even I am hurt, my son is in worst shape. Eventually he falls in the street and next thing I see is we are in the hospital. I am wounded but my son was almost cut in parts. I see myself with a nurse giving him tea through a mechanism that helps him to drink it as he is harm enought to live like a plant. So sad.
