Is it legal to sell homemade anime products?

I plan on going to a anime con as a dealer and i plan to have a ton of anime products that i will order from bulk merchandisers. but there are some products which are not made or just to over priced to import from Asia. Mostly things like Plushy and fleece hats. I wanted to know if it is legal to make like 20-50 of them and sell at a anime convention without getting in trouble with lawyers and convention staff?
